PMO Manager

Our client, a mid-sized contract manufacturer with DoD and medical device contracts, is seeking full-time onsite PMP Manager who can build and lead a high-performing PM team delivering complex medical device programs.

We’re seeking a PMO Manager to lead and develop the Project Management team while driving execution of multidisciplinary electronics-based NPD/NPI projects. This is a highly visible leadership role where you’ll shape PMO strategy, mentor project managers, and ensure predictable, high-quality delivery across a portfolio of complex programs.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • 5–10 years of project management experience in electronics product development or contract manufacturing 
  • Proven experience leading and developing Project Managers 
  • Strong technical understanding of electronics, embedded systems, and NPD/NPI processes 
  • Experience with manufacturing and production processes (DFM/DFT, validation, transfer to production) 
  • Knowledge of regulated environments (medical devices strongly preferred; ISO 13485, FDA, etc.) 
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills 
  • Engineering degree preferred; PMP or similar certification a plus 

What You’ll Do in this Role:

  • Lead, hire, and develop a team of Project Managers, driving performance and career growth 
  • Oversee execution of multiple complex projects, ensuring delivery on scope, schedule, budget, and quality 
  • Build and enhance PMO processes, tools, and standards for consistent, scalable execution 
  • Provide technical and project leadership guidance to PMs across all phases (concept → manufacturing) 
  • Partner with customers and Account Managers to communicate project status, risks, and trade-offs 
  • Support Sales with project planning input for proposals and quotes 
  • Drive a culture of accountability, technical excellence, and continuous improvement

This job is onsite in Maine and, as this Client has contracts with the Department of Defense, also requires that applicants either be U.S. Citizens or have minimum of a Green Card.
