Project Developer

  • Business Development: Identify and assess new market opportunities, including potential partnerships and funding sources.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with government agencies, investors, and community representatives to ensure project alignment and support.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct research to analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and regulatory frameworks, providing insights for project development strategies.
  • Technoeconomic Modeling: Ability to analyze technology readiness, resource data, costs and incentives to determine viability of project opportunities.
  • Strategic Communication: Represent the Company at industry events, delivering presentations and networking to enhance the company’s market presence.
  • Funding Acquisition: Contribute to efforts in grant writing, proposal development, and negotiation with potential investors and funding bodies.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including proposals, market studies, and stakeholder communications.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proficiency in market analysis, business development, and stakeholder engagement
  • Experience in grant writing, fundraising, and investment negotiations
  • Ability to travel for site evaluations and stakeholder meetings
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences
  • The ability to speak other languages is desired

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, environmental sciences, energy, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in project development within the renewable energy sector or similar industries
  • Knowledge of ERP systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and Project Management tools

Other Requirements

  • This position is a mix of desk work and fieldwork. While performing desk work, the candidate must be able to spend prolonged periods of time sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be willing to travel to development site locations, both domestic and international.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in difficult weather conditions.
  • This is a hybrid position based out of Dublin.
