Contract Manufacturing Program Manager - Solar / Supply Chain

We are seeking a self-motivated, organized, dynamic, and energetic Contract Manufacturing Program Manager (Solar) to join our Clean Energy Team.

As Contract Manufacturing Program Manager,
manage the overall performance and oversight of global contract manufacturers by monitoring external manufacturing performance, KPI development and implementation, and internal and external cross-functional team collaboration and problem solving., reporting to the Supply Chain Manager. Specifically, you will:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for contract manufacturer interactions, initiatives, and problem resolution;
  • Plan, lead, and execute Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) with contract manufacturers;
  • Develop, implement, and maintain a robust contract manufacturer scorecard program;
  • Monitor contract manufacturer production readiness for each manufacturing lot and appropriately escalate material or labor constraints to internal leaders; 
  • Track and report progress on contract manufacturer improvement initiatives;
  • Participate in standard contract administration and reviews;
  • Audit contract manufacturer standard operating procedures, operational processes, and materials management/procurement practices;
  • Assist in the contract manufacturer onboarding process;
  • Support Supply Operations on various assignments as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience;
  • 5 years experience in external manufacturing operations, contract manufacturing, supplier relationship management, or a related field;
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 30% of the time. 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA preferred;
  • Experience with external manufacturing / outsourcing of electro-mechanical assemblies; 
  • Experience with continuous improvement, Six Sigma concepts and methodologies.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex and robust programs with major suppliers and/or manufacturers; 
  • Advanced project management skills; 
  • Exceptional organizational skills; 
  • Experience with leading supplier program reviews and measuring KPIs; 
  • Ability to adjust priorities and manage time wisely in a fast-paced environment; 
  • Understanding of supplier contracts and conflict resolution.
