Welder

Gorham, ME
As Welder in this international company, you will help to build a remarkable product that has won acclaim internationally. We currently have positions for 2nd shift, but are open to applicants for all shifts.

In this role you will:

• Set-up and run production welding equipment (Manual and robotic welding)
• Interface with engineering to optimize welding robot programs
• Weld in following types: § Mig (GMAW) All positions § Tig (GTAW) All positions § Spotwelder
• Interpret blueprints including AWS welding symbols
• Use of common sheet metal measuring devices (Calipers, protractors etc.)
• Communicate operating procedures to co-workers
• Operate other sheet metal fabrication equipment as needed

In this role, you will work cooperatively with coworker to manufacture quality products and to:

Meet attendance expectations
Practice “Lean” processes unique to position
Participate in our Idea Generation and Employee Development Programs
Adhere to all safety guidelines.
Actively participate in our required ergonomic evaluations and daily stretch breaks

Required Education : High School Degree or equivalent

Required Experience : Three to six months related experience
