Water Project Engineer

Who we are looking for:
We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our Andover, Massachusetts office who can work independently or as part of a team on drinking water treatment and distribution system planning, design and construction projects for our municipal clients. The successful candidate will be a motivated, growth-oriented professional with an ability to contribute to multi-disciplined project teams from planning through conceptual and final design, construction phases and operations of systems and facilities. You will have staff to mentor and clients to support. Not only will you have engineers to support you, but our integrated operations and SCADA teams will help you deliver the highest quality products. You will also be an active participant in our delivery system improvement programs.
What you need to succeed:
The ideal candidate for this position will function well in a team environment, working closely with other engineers, designers and Project Managers to take a project through permitting, design and construction. Ideally, you will be familiar with engineering concepts associated with municipal drinking water systems or have a breadth of experience across both drinking water and wastewater disciplines. Specific areas of experience may include hydraulic modeling, water treatment processes, or distribution system infrastructure design. Experience preparing plans and specifications for public bidding, and knowledge with state and EPA regulations regarding water treatment and distribution systems is preferred.  Strong writing and communications skills are also required as assignments will include report writing, environmental studies and presentations.
  • 4-8 years of engineering experience with water or wastewater engineering related projects.
  • B.S. Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
  • Experience with local, state, and federal regulatory permitting process.
  • Registered Professional Engineer preferred.
